Emerald Princess Cruise

My countdown begins. I will be leaving on the Emerald Princess on November 29, 2009, for a 7 night Eastern Caribbean Cruise. I hope that the people on this cruise were nicer than the ones that sailed on it a couple of years ago. When you cruise, you never know who is going to be on a ship. The people on the Ship December 2007 were the rudest nastiest people I have ever met. They were old and crotchity and complained about everything. I felt sorrow for the personnel on board the ship. Sometimes things don't go accordingly to plan and you need to go with the flow.
I am hoping that this time, it will be a different crowd.

Caribbean Princess

I recently got back from a 7 night New England Cruise on the beautiful Caribbean Princess. I have been on this ship about 7 times but this time was after her recent makeover and let me tell you, she is spectacular.
For me cruising on this ship is like coming home. I always take a mini suite as the bathrooms are twice the size of the regular bathrooms and they have a bathtub in them. When unpacking, I know exactly where I am going to put all my stuff.
I thought the food on this ship was very good and one night for dinner we had the choice of Beef Wellington or Lobster tails. We made such pigs of ourselves that we had both. Our waiter was happy to accommodate us.
I have to say that the New England cruise is an older crowd and out of a ship of 3400 people I saw one child.
